What a care plan covers
Hosting and certificates
The site runs on infrastructure we manage, with its certificate renewed before it lapses.
Updates and patches
The software the site runs on is kept current, so a known hole is closed before someone finds it.
Daily backups, kept off the server
If something goes wrong, there is a copy from yesterday to go back to.
Monitoring, around the clock
The site is checked every few hours for being up and being quick. If it goes down, we start as soon as the monitor alerts us, any day of the week. You hear from us when it is back.
Changes, with a stated window
Text, images, a new page: send it to us. Each plan states how fast we acknowledge a request and what it includes each month; larger work is quoted. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00 AST.
A person who checks in
A receipt for every payment. A note ahead of every renewal saying what the year covered and what renews. And a check-in, with the site's uptime and response figures, asking whether anything needs changing.

With a build, the care plan matches the tier and starts the month after the last instalment. For a site we did not build, it starts with a review.
